How It All Started

We’re a husband and wife team, and like many great stories, ours began with love—and a wedding shower.

Back in 1999, while planning our own celebration, we couldn’t find a catering company that truly matched our vision. Brent was a chef at a country club at the time, so I asked him to create the menu and cater our shower. He said yes. The food was a hit, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about it. Several even said, “You two should do this for a living!” We looked at each other and thought...why not?

That moment sparked something. And just like that, All Seasons Catering was born!

Shortly after we got married, we took a leap of faith into entrepreneurship. Brent left his job, took a business start-up course, and I juggled school with part-time jobs. Our friends thought we were a little crazy. Our families weren’t sure why we wanted to work together 24/7—but they supported us anyway!

Our Journey

MAY 5, 2000

We officially catered our very first event: a small corporate breakfast and lunch. It was humble, but it was the beginning.

We started by preparing home-style meals for seniors, which led to monthly dinners for 55+ communities across the city. Then came a wedding for one of their granddaughters—and just like that, we fell in love with events.

2001

A friend invited us to cater a low-budget film production. That little opportunity opened big doors. Soon, we became the go-to catering company for movie sets in Winnipeg.

2004

We were approached by The Wellness Institute to take over their café services. In 2006, the Manitoba Legislature asked us to manage food services there. Over the years, we operated five cafés across the city, catered major film productions, and even had the honour of serving The Queen.

But something was missing—the spark and joy we felt catering weddings and private events.

2011

We stepped away from cafés and film sets to return to our roots: creating unforgettable experiences through event catering. Pouring our hearts into weddings, corporate functions, and celebrations of all kinds.

Today, we cater hundreds of events each year and still love every minute of it! We’re incredibly grateful for our journey, and for the friends, family, and clients who’ve believed in us along the way.
